Matt's Obssesion
Most everyone who knows us, also knows that we have had a huge swimming pool sized whole in our front yard since Easter. Matt's latest project. The new koi pond. Well, it is now near completion and I'll be organizing all the photos and trying to get them all put up here as I have time. So check back to the progression from beginning to end.Know how to add a Slide Show??

Know how to add a Slide Show??
I attempted to put up a slide show that I made of the pond construction. However, I can't for the life of me figure out how to embed the dang thing into the page. I went through the entire process of clicking on Multimedia > Photographs > Photobucket > Create Slideshow > and then it just seems to dead end. No further instructions from there.
So, If anyone reads this and knows how to go about this task, I'd be grateful for the help/advise. There are just too many pictures to put up individually on the page. A slideshow would be the best choice.

Pea Soup!
Well, I was going to add some photos this morning, but they are all way to large. so, I'm going to have to take some time in PhotoShop and resize them. You really don't want to see the final photo of the pond at the moment anyway. It was pretty for all of about a day. We put the few plants we had and the few surviving shubinkins, fantails, and comets in the pond a week ago tomorrow. The next day got one hellacious strom with high winds, thunder, lightening, horozontal rain, the whole nie. It blew lots of dirt and debris into the crystal clear pond. The next few days we got scortching heat. And if you know anything about the biology of ponds, then you know what happened next. Algae Bloom!!! And though we have the Livingponds Skimmer Fitler w/Falls set up and a 50 watt UNivex Clrifier the pond is still a lovely transparent shade similar to Pea Soup! But we can still somewhat see the fish, and they seem to be happy in their new digs. So we are trying to be patient and wait out the biological algae storm.
